From May 1 to 7, Manitoba communities will be celebrating Let No One Be Alone (LNOBA) week. LNOBA is an initiative created in 2012 to raise awareness for people, especially seniors and those with disabilities, living alone.

On Monday, May 2, the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba (ASM) will be hosting a Virtual Dementia Tour in McCreary. The event is being put on in conjunction with the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre and will be held in their board room from 1 to 3 pm.

Just over a hundred friends and well wishers gathered at Chicken Corral on Thursday, Apr. 21 in celebration of Cecil Pittman and his contributions to Neepawa’s newspaper history.
