Recent Winnipeg mayoral candidate Robert Falcon-Ouelette, spoke on Friday to the Neepawa Rotary Club. In what was described by some as the best speech ever, Falcon-Ouelette outlined some of his vision for the future of Winnipeg and Manitoba.

It is no surprise for Manitoba drivers that ice and snow affect the roadways. What may be surprising, however, is how some simple changes in driving habits can make a big difference to your safety while driving in winter conditions. Habits that drivers have on dry roads could have serious consequences if practiced on icy or snow-covered roadways.

The parishioners of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic parish in Rivers were pleased to welcome all the guests at their St. Nicholas tea. There was a nice variety at the bake table and many choices for the penny raffle. The hampers and Christmas basket were overflowing with many items.
