Glenella History Book Committee
Glenella History Book committee is happy to report a second book has been published on this area. On March 16, 2013 several residents from the RM of Glenella met at the Glenvilla Centre where the decision was made that the history of the area could be updated, since it was 25 years since 1,500 books were printed and all sold out.

In total, the Victoria’s Quilts Canada St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser served lunch to 170 people, although Daphne Hall, one of the organizers, said that many others bought tickets in order to support the organization. Hall said of the turn out, “It was wonderful, we had so much support, we were overwhelmed... I can’t believe the support from the community.”

McCreary COPP
We are pleased to announce that the McCreary Branch of the Citizens on Patrol Program (Copp) is now officially trained and operating. The main purpose of the McCreary C.O.P. Program is to be the additional “eyes and ears” in the community.
