Agassiz MLA candidates state their cases

On Thursday, March 24, three provincial MLA candidates from the Agassiz constituency participated in a debate forum that was aired on NACTV. The forum involved questions from the community that the candidates had a chance to address.

A family and community has had its chance to say goodbye to Chase Martens. A funeral service for the two-year-old, who had gone missing the previous week, was held on  March 30 at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in MacGregor, MB. The youngster’s body was found on  March 26, after a massive search effort began on  March 22.

Heritage Fair presents the history of Neepawa and the world

The Grade 5 classes at HMK held their first ever Heritage Fair on Wednesday, March 23. The Grade 5s picked a topic to do with either their background, the history of their home country or the history of Neepawa to research and present, similar to the format of a science fair.

Rural schools take learning outside the classroom
