On Saturday, Nov. 17, the Beautiful Plains Community Foundation (BPCF) is holding their fourth annual 24 Hour Giving Challenge to help raise money for projects in the community.

I had few pumpkins this year and lots of carrots. In a very old cookbook I found this recipe for carrot pie. I decided it was a great way to dress up carrots!

From Friday, Oct. 12 to Sunday, Oct. 14, McDonald’s in Neepawa had a grand opening celebration for their new double lane drive-thru. McDonald’s took the opportunity to not only give back to its customers, but also to the community.
