Neepawa RCMP report to a fatality east of Arden Ridge

On Dec. 27, 2018, at approximately 5:20 am, Neepawa RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 16, between Hwy 352 and Road 74 North, between Gladsone and Neepawa. 

Officers believe that an SUV travelling west on Hwy 16 collided with an ambulance which was travelling east. The lone occupant of the SUV, a 36-year-old female from Winnipeg, was pronounced deceased on scene. The 37-year-old male ambulance driver, a 37-year-old female passenger and a patient are currently in the hospital.

RCMP believe the poor road conditions were a factor in the collision.

Neepawa RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
