Staff changes at Rivers Collegiate

The new fall school term began at Rivers Collegiate on Wednesday, Sept. 9, with an enrolment of 143 students. Some of the staff changes include David Wolfe as band teacher, succeeding Angela Roberts who is now in charge of resource and guidance.

The Farm Credit Canada (FCC) Drive Away Hunger food drive is underway. Towns across Canada are participating in this event for their local food banks.

Vyacheslav Stayanov and Yana Melamed stopped in Neepawa along their journey of Cycle 4 Recycle to refuel themselves on Sept. 3. The two cyclists from Bulgaria have already made 5,600 kms of their two year journey from Alaska to Argentina.
