Rivers Police Service
Rivers Police Service joined seven other police agencies and Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) during May. We participated in STEP (Selective Traffic Enforcement Program), aimed at drivers who continue to use hand-held electronic devices.

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League's 2015 bantam draft was held in Neepawa on Sunday, June 7 in Neepawa, MB. For the first time in the league’s history it was televised live on NACTV which is available on MTS TV and Bell TV.

Just over 50 grade six students from Neepawa and Carberry recently took to the air for a flight they will not likely soon forget. The youngsters were participants in COPA for Kids, a program where they learn about aviation thanks to a partnership between the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) and the Beautiful Plains School Division.

Robert Johnston latest recipient of France's highest honour

Second World War veteran, Robert Johnston, was presented with the Knight of the Legion of Honour medal for his part in the liberation of France. The medal was presented by Bruno Burnichon, Consul of Winnipeg’s French Consulate, at Gladstone’s Third Crossing Manor in front of friends, family, fellow veterans and Gladstone Legion #110 members.
