Fluoride and festivals on Neepawa Council to-do list

The Town of Neepawa is examining whether it should continue to add fluoride to its water. A presentation was made to council on Tuesday, Jan. 19 by wastewater supervisor Howard Buffi, outlining the impact the fluoridation program has had on the system.

SRDC looking for nominations

The Southwest Regional Development Corporation (SRDC) is looking for community-minded individuals to join their board of directors. To be eligible to be a director, one must be at least 18 years of age, live or work in a municipality that is a member of SRDC and be nominated by that municipality.

VCC a growing part of the Neepawa community

Rrain Prior, Executive Director  of the Viscount Cultural Centre was wearing at least two hats last Friday. Prior is president of the Neepawa Rotary Club, which meets very Friday at the VCC. As has been the usual case for the past several months, she chaired the Rotary weekly meeting, but she also brought the program portion of the meeting.

Ziggy’s night at the curling club a big hit

A crowd came out to the Neepawa Curling Club to enjoy a taste of the past on Friday, Jan. 15. Ziggy’s Pizza Night took over the canteen and the second level of the building.
