There is water everywhere. Several towns have been declared to be in a state of emergency. The ice is breaking up at a fast pace, the water is running, in some places, too fast and ice jams are forming.. It came on so fast that it surprised many people who live close to rivers and lakes. Machinery and manpower worked day and night to clear the ice jams so that the water can run freely.
One great comfort is that the world will never again be totally flooded. God made a covenant with the people who were in the arc that Noah built. He and his family survived that flood and God told Noah in Genesis 9:11 “And I will establish my covenant with you …..neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.”
May the fields soon dry up so the farmers can get ready for the spring seeding.
