With excitement it was announced that another great grandchild is on the way. It was even mentioned that it is going to be a girl. I started searching in my knitting books for just the right pattern to make an outfit for this little girl to be.

I found a pattern that looked very sweet on the picture, but I never made this outfit before. I started at the neck and the more I worked on it I realized that a pattern was developing. Each needle had some different stitches to build a design.

It made me think of our daily living. We can only see one day at a time, no matter how much we try to plan ahead. We do not know what tomorrow will bring, but when we know Jesus Christ in a personal way we can trust Him and know that “the Lord continually guide you (and me)” (Isaiah 58:11). 

This is the design that builds our life and we know that “God has said, Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
