A thumbs up to the Town of Neepawa employees. They were at our place the next morning at 8 o'clock to remove the tree that had fallen onto Hamilton street in front of our home [following last Wednesday night’s storm].

Thumbs up to anyone that cleaned up along the highways, streets and back lanes, also to the beautiful music coming from backyards on the long weekends. Makes Neepawa a nicer place to live.

Thumbs up to the Neepawa Cemetery workers - Jack, Scott and staff. Although challenged earlier this year with rain, mega weed growth, and few staff to plant, trim and mow, they did a heroic job. Since they received more staff and got caught up, the results are spectacular! I can't think of a more beautiful and quiet spot to visit, contemplate, enjoy the fragrance of the petunias, and come away refreshed.
