Province announces tougher COVID-19 rules

The Province of Manitoba has announced tougher public health restrictions just a week before Christmas. Effective Tuesday, Dec. 21 at 12:01 a.m., private indoor gatherings will be reduced to the household plus 10 guests if everyone is vaccinated. For anyone who is unvaccinated, the limit is the household plus five guests. Children 12 and under are excluded. As well as that alteration, other changes included in the announcment are as follows:

New hospital announced for Neepawa

The Province of Manitoba has announced that Neepawa will be getting a brand new hospital in the next few years. On Friday, Dec. 10, Premier Heather Stefanson and Health and Seniors Care Minister Audrey Gordon made the announcement at the Yellowhead Centre in Neepawa.
