Terry Fox continues to inspire

Thirty-seven years after the inaugural Marathon of Hope, the legacy of Terry Fox continues to inspire our nation. That inspiration was on full display recently in Neepawa, as 75 people took to the streets on Sunday, Sept. 17, to be a part of the annual Terry Fox Run.

F. Kozak and Sons released from its snow job

The search is underway for a new company to take over Neepawa’s snow removal contract. On Tuesday, Sept. 19, Town Council voted to release F. Kozak and Sons Ltd from its existing deal, which had been scheduled to run until Dec. 2018. Kozak and Sons had made a formal request to withdraw from the agreement, though the specific reason for the request was not made public by the company or the town.

NACTV live broadcast

NACTV is a large part of the community, but not many people know what it’s all about. On Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. the station will be putting on an informative live broadcast showcasing the goings on within the local television station.
