Suspects connected to shooting near Onanole in custody

Three suspects are now in custody after a late night shooting near Onanole sent an RCMP officer to a hospital in serious condition. The RCMP have noted that the incident happened late in the evening on Wednesday, Aug. 29.

Mounties released via their Twitter account early this morning that they have three suspects in custody in relation to the shooting. About an hour later, they tweeted an update indicating that a manhunt was still underway for a fourth suspect. RCMP previously warned the public that these individuals were considered armed and dangerous.

As for the condition of the injured, RCMP officer, he was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. A STARS air ambulance was dispatched from Winnipeg to Onanole at about 10:20 p.m.
