Ready for the ski season

Thanks to a generous donation, the Neepawa & Area Cross Country Ski Club was able to purchase this ATV to be used in trail maintenance.

The ski club, which is responsible for 16 km of ski and snowshoe trails at the Winter Park, partnered with the Langford Recreational Trails, who are responsible for 11 km of hiking trails, to apply for this grant. Volunteers are extremely grateful to the Manitoba Community Services Council Inc., as this machine is used for checking and clearing trails, transporting equipment and for mowing all trails  This year, over 150 hours have been donated to the maintenance of all these trails. The club also received a donation of a picnic table for use at the warming cabin from the Neepawa Rotary Club as well as junior skis from the Rural Municipality of North Cypress-Langford.
