Thursday, Aug. 11 marks the conclusion of another incredibly successful Miracle Treat Day. Held at Dairy Queens across Canada, Miracle Treat Day is a fundraising event that raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. The proceeds of every Blizzard sold are donated to the Children’s Miracle Network.

The event in Neepawa had live music, face painting and a small animal farm. Among the performers was local high school student and Dairy Queen employee Ray Andi Marcel (Ram) Ignacio,  who performed a number of piano pieces, some accompanied by singing. 

There were live performances  throughout the afternoon to entertain the crowd, including Ram.

The day was a bit cooler than it was last year, but the turnout was just as impressive, as a grand total of 2348 blizzards were sold this year. Those results are slightly down from the 2500 that were sold last year, but still an impressive number. In total, the Neepawa DQ donated $12,763.43 to the Children’s Miracle Network.
