Neepawa Celebrates Canada Day

A wide array of fun activites greeted visitors to Riverbend Park on July 1 for the Canada Day celebration. The day included a pancake breakfast, petting zoo, children’s games, live musical performances and was capped off with fireworks at dusk to mark our nation’s 149th birthday.

This Highland cow was just one of the many animals that were a part of the petting zoo.
The facepainting booth proved to be a very popular attraction for children during the day.
The fireworks display lit up the night sky and dazzled several hundred spectators at Riverbend Park, culminating Neepawa’s Canada Day festivities.
