The regular monthly meeting of Rivers Legion Ladies Auxiliary was held April 4 in Rivers Legion upper hall; 18 members were present. There were no new applications for membership this month.

Reports and minutes were read and adopted. A donation was made to Rivers Train Station Restoration Committee in memory of Frank Hayhurst. The auxiliary will help with the Meals on Wheels program for the month of April. 

Honours and awards will be given out at the May meeting, which will be  May 2 in the upper hall. There will be a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7:30 p.m. All members are invited to attend and bring a guest. This year marks our 70th year!
