Social to raise money for leukemia treatment

This July, six-year-old Alyx Delaloye was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
On Nov. 8, friends and family are hosting a benefit social in Neepawa. The proceeds of which will help the family cover the costs associated with her treatments, which take place in Winnipeg. The recovery process is a long road, treatments generally continue for over two years.
The social will be at the Yellowhead Centre in Neepawa. It will start at 9 p.m. and end at 2 a.m.
There will also be tables of prizes and a late lunch. Tickets are available in Neepawa at Chicken Corral and Gill and Schmall, a well as through Debbie Strelczik and Jennifer Pope-Airey. More information is available under “Benefit social for Alyx) on Facebook.
