Bee hives poisoned

Brandon RCMP are investigating the report of the poisoning of hundreds of honey-producing bee hives, resulting in thousands of dead bees and a substantial financial loss. It is believed this occurred sometime between Aug. 14 and Sept. 3, at two separate locations, six and 10 miles northwest of Brandon in the RM of Elton.
